There Is Only One Who Is Good

S: Guy proceeds to attack God for the evil of "humanity."

R: Sounds like you hate evil then. Since you hate slavery, rape, and such. That means you have a conscience. ..  which you listen to… and God is the source of your conscience. So guess you agree with Him more than you thought.

S: So does my conscience tell me that what God commanded was wrong and immoral?

R: Your conscience doesn’t tell you to blame God for the evil of "humanity" because its a lie therefore its not God telling you that. Its Satan (aka the father of lies).

S: I'm not talking about the "evil of humanity.” I'm talking about actions and commands attributed to GOD in the Bible.

R: Those actions and commands were carried out because of the 'evil' they committed. So what is your argument? That God shouldn’t destroy evil people? Because if that is the case then you would have no protection at all from evil, and you would be in favor of a law free world in which people are allowed to commit any type of crime because its evil to punish evil. Do you think a cold blooded rapist that slit the throat of a young woman then subsequently butchered her husband and his brother doesn’t deserve the death penalty?

"Why do you ask me about what is good?" Jesus replied. "There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments." "Which ones?" the man inquired. Jesus replied, "'Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother, and 'love your neighbor as yourself.'"

Matthew 19:17-19

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."

Revelation 21: 4-7

*Jesus said He does the will of He who sent Him.

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the same but separate. The Holy Spirit is in us. Jesus is the son or a human manifestation of God because He is identical to Him in nature. He was sent here as a representation of the fathers love for us... to die for our sins… and thus redeem us so that we too may become one with the father through Him (the Holy Spirit).

The three are one*

"Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted."

1 Timothy 1:8-11

Morality would not exist without God/good vs Satan/evil.

Both of which are already defined..  as such we cannot redefine that which is already defined.

We are not here to define what’s right.

We’re here to choose it.

....

Most of the people in the Old Testament were pure evil therefore they were following Satan and not God so they were destroyed...

People get it wrong. God doesn’t destroy His people. Only Satan’s.
