Satan's Defeat

 ….

People think it isn’t fair

It's a catch 22

We are expected not to sin but we are all sinners

Yes, we all have sinned, but we are all capable of choosing God instead of Satan so that we may then become "RIGHTEOUS' (which were fully capable of) and RISE ABOVE Satan's influence through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

I John 5:18

God

HATES

When

Satan

Attacks

Us

And He would love to utterly destroy and remove him from our presence NOW.

But if He did that MANY of his loved ones would end up going with him.

And He doesn’t want that.

People like to argue that God should have abolished Satan from the very beginning. Because then there would be no evil in the world. And there would be no problems. Because there would be only good. But why would there be only good? Because there would only be good… meaning there would be nothing else in existence.

Therefore we wouldn’t be choosing good it would be the only choice we had.

The evil in this world is the result of our loved ones that CHOOSE Satan of their own free will.

God wants us to CHOOSE HIM of our own accord. Then we won’t have any problems with Satan because he will have NO POWER against us because we trust in HIM.

Starting to make sense? We get attacked by Satan because we allow him to attack us by choosing him…

If we would stop choosing him he would have NO POWER against us.

People don’t get that. They don’t understand that they are the ones that are inviting the evil into their own lives. They like to blame God for it as if He is responsible for the choices THEY make? How does that make sense? It doesn't. It's illogical. Because it's Satan’s thoughts. And he's an idiot.

They think to themselves, why does God allow all of this? Why is He letting Satan attack me? Why isn’t He protecting me?

And God's thinking, really? How many times have I told you to turn to me so I can protect you? And you continue to IGNORE ME? Yet you wonder why you're being attacked by Satan when you constantly listen to him! And you won't have anything to do with me!!

But Satan gives us this logic,

Well, what does my choosing Satan instead of God have to do with this?

I said,

I’m angry that I’m being influenced by Satan.

That’s the point.

What you said doesn’t make any sense.

Satan will tell us that we can never rise above his influence while we're here, but he is a liar. He twists things. We're not perfect and without sin but we can resist him, firm in our faith, putting on the full armor of God, and allow God to fight our battles for us so that when he attacks us he will have NO POWER against us.

God wouldn’t tell us to avoid sin and give us guidelines to follow if it were not possible to do so…

Of course choosing God means rejecting Satan’s influence, and there are some that reject Satan’s influence more than others. And we are all to strive to do the same. The danger in focusing too much on that is we become self righteous. No one is to view themselves as better than another because we all fall short of the glory of God. Meaning, God is COMPLETELY without sin and He still loves us with a 'consuming fire'.

And we are expected to represent Him by showing that same love and compassion toward the people.

Once we turn to God the Holy Spirit causes us to be righteous, but we've all been subjected to sin at some point so we should never judge others.

Even though there were strict judgments in the bible in order to deter evil God/Jesus always loves us and desires that we repent so that we may be forgiven.

This is my favorite passage in the New Testament:

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 8

....

Jesus had the authority of the father because He did His will

Yet His own people denied Him

And persecuted Him

As He went to His death

And gave His life for them

....

God/Jesus has the power to pardon us of our sins at ANY time. And we were given the Holy Spirit so that we may repent and turn from our ways. The purpose of the law was to show how utterly detestable sin was in the eyes of God and that ONLY through Jesus Christ can we be pardoned because of the fact that God cannot look upon sin. Jesus Christ was conceived through the power of the Holy Spirit. He was the first son of God. We are to follow Him. So that we, too, may be true sons of God.

As in Adam all die. So in Christ may all be made alive.

Jesus set the captives free. The whole world. Even those that lived before He walked the earth. He is power. That is why Satan wants to discount Him so much. He uses false prophets to attempt to twist the truth. If you’ll notice, they alter something regarding Jesus in the scriptures. And leave the rest alone. Wonder why?

....

Adam turned away from Him

Then His own people turned away from Him

All throughout the Old Testament we DID NOT seem to be able to love/accept Him of our own accord..

But God still couldn’t turn away from us

He still loved us so much that He couldn’t do it

So He sent His son Jesus Christ—

Who had His spirit and thus represented Him because He did His will

To show us that even though He cannot stand sin He would still forgive us and sacrifice for our 'detestable' sins

And this is so significant

Him doing this

In that He is all powerful

The alpha and the omega

The beginning and the end

The first and the last

But He would humble Himself

Subject Himself to such heinous and humiliating treatment

And submit Himself to such cruelty

And allow Himself to be tortured and spat on

By the very disgusting nature of that which He detests (sin)

Because of the consuming fire/love He has for us

Hence why in most every picture depicted of Him there is fire in His heart

And the fire in His heart

Is the love of God

·  Question: "What does it mean that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega?"

Answer: "Jesus proclaimed Himself to be the “Alpha and Omega” in Revelation 1:8, 11; 21:6; and 22:13. Alpha and omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. Among the Jewish rabbis, it was common to use the first and the last letters of the Hebrew alphabet to denote the whole of anything, from beginning to end. Jesus as the beginning and end of all things is a reference to no one but the true God. This statement of eternality could apply only to God. It is seen especially in Revelation 22:13, where Jesus proclaims that He is “the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

One of the meanings of Jesus being the “Alpha and Omega” is that He was at the beginning of all things and will be at the close. It is equivalent to saying He always existed and always will exist. It was Christ, as second Person of the Trinity, who brought about the creation: “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made” (John 1:3), and His Second Coming will be the beginning of the end of creation as we know it (2 Peter 3:10). As God incarnate, He has no beginning, nor will He have any end with respect to time, being from everlasting to everlasting.

A second meaning of Jesus as the “Alpha and Omega” is that the phrase identifies Him as the God of the Old Testament. Isaiah ascribes this aspect of Jesus’ nature as part of the triune God in several places. “I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last I am He” (41:4). “I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God” (Isaiah 44:6). “I am he; I am the first, I also am the last” (Isaiah 48:12). These are clear indications of the eternal nature of the Godhead.

Christ, as the Alpha and Omega, is the first and last in so many ways. He is the “author and finisher” of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), signifying that He begins it and carries it through to completion. He is the totality, the sum and substance of the Scriptures, both of the Law and of the Gospel (John 1:1, 14). He is the fulfilling end of the Law (Matthew 5:17), and He is the beginning subject matter of the gospel of grace through faith, not of works (Ephesians 2:8-9). He is found in the first verse of Genesis and in the last verse of Revelation. He is the first and last, the all in all of salvation, from the justification before God to the final sanctification of His people.

Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and last, the beginning and the end. Only God incarnate could make such a statement. Only Jesus Christ is God incarnate."

  • Jesus speaks in the Old Testament:

God’s Ancient Plan to Redeem Israel

"Listen to Me, O Jacob, And Israel, My called: I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, And My right hand has stretched out the heavens; When I call to them, They stand up together.

"All of you, assemble yourselves, and hear! Who among them has declared these things? The Lord loves him; He shall do His pleasure on Babylon, And His arm shall be against the Chaldeans. I, even I, have spoken; Yes, I have called him, I have brought him, and his way will prosper. “Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord God and His Spirit Have sent Me.”

Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Your descendants also would have been like the sand, And the offspring of your body like the grains of sand; His name would not have been cut off Nor destroyed from before Me.”

Isaiah 48: 12-19

....

It’s hard for us to understand the nature of the trinity

There are three different versions of Him

Jesus is different from God the father

He is a human manifestation of God

And as a result of His sacrifice we now have His spirit (the Holy Spirit)

Which can be viewed as His DNA

And it mixes with our spirit

And we are born again

And He becomes our father by choice

But we don’t become Him

To believe that would be a heresy

We are still ourselves just a better version of ourselves

He becomes our father by choice because we have to accept His sacrifice before we are reborn.
