How Did Noah Get the Animals in the Ark?

Genesis 7

1 The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. 2 Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

5 And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.

I have seen some ridiculous comments on the above excerpt

The above excerpt is not at all contradictory. God is simply giving Noah instructions on how to bring the animals into the ark, and obviously God would have told Noah which animals were clean or unclean... just as He told Moses.

Scholars have a hard time with the above passage because they are not entirely sure what God meant when He gave the numbers on the clean and unclean animals

And they never will be...

Unless He chooses to reveal it to them

Because God's thoughts are much higher than mans

But really they are making something rather simple a little too complicated...

God basically just gave Noah a cipher which allowed him to salvage the animals.
