The Power of the Holy Spirit

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Isaiah 7:14

He lives in us. A lot of people never grasp this concept correctly.

They fail to realize the power of the Holy Spirit within because they are too afraid.

Or they take it to the extreme by claiming to be a miniature god-- which is incorrect as God lives in us but we and God have our own separate identity. To believe otherwise is a heresy. We are to always guard against such false doctrines as the power is tempting thus the reason Moses was given a staff rather than permitted to use his own hands.

Now we use our own hands because the Holy Spirit is within, but we must always acknowledge that it is the Holy Spirit within that gives us power and not that of ourselves.
