I’ve attempted to find the answer as to what happens when you give up your soul for various reasons- to that which is of this world.

One would start to care less and less each day.
About things that were once important. Even themselves.
They do this by ignoring their soul.
And putting worldly things first in their life.

But the really sad thing about this is what happens in the end.
The person loses their identity.
And is left with only that which is carnal.

And they suffer eternally.

So yeah. That doesn’t sound like it would be much fun.
Its a good thing we know Yeshua/God
and were not giving up our soul.

And it’s a good thing it's a choice.

No one has to do it.

And if one has a good heart they wouldn’t do it anyway.
Cause they would never put worldly things such as money, lust, etc
above the substance of their soul-- love.
They care too much for others/God. And find worldly things trivial.
So no one that is good hearted will ever suffer.

There is a difference between sin and giving up your soul though.
A big difference.

Everyone chooses sin at one point in their life.
Saul (who became Paul and wrote two thirds of the New Testament) persecuted Christians then later became God's most devoted follower.

But when one gives up their soul they knowingly do so.
They knowingly choose evil over good.
Because they truly despise what is good.
And they love evil.

And so they cannot coexist with others that hate evil and love good.
This is the reason they must be separated.

But God will make himself known to the person right before they make the choice to give up their soul-- in one way or another.

And if that person loves God then they will choose him.
But that person will understand clearly the difference between the two:
God/good and Satan/evil.

And they will know that they are giving up their soul to serve Satan.

But they will still choose evil.
Because they cannot stand the fruit of the spirit.
They detest love and prefer lust.
They despise helping others and are self serving.

So they indulge in their fleshly desires whilst here on earth
inflicting pain on others and engaging in immoral things
but in the end when it’s all over
Satan will turn on them
and they will suffer.

A lot of people don’t realize there is a difference between sin and giving up your soul. Especially certain denominations that teach if you backslide you’re condemned to hell.

First- No one but God knows who is condemning themselves to hell.
Second- We were born into sin so if the act of sinning condemned us to hell then we would all go there. God searches our heart not our actions. There are many people that commit sin but do not desire evil.
Third- God doesn’t condemn us to hell. We do that ourselves.
We would not want our child to go to hell so what makes them think that God would? There are a lot less people going to hell then most religious denominations preach. That type of pharisaic spirit in the churches is the exact thing the messiah was against.
Any impassioned feeling we have toward anyone on this earth was an attribute given to us by our father/God. Any ability in us to be good or love others was a direct result of our soul. Which is the part of us that is made in our likeness to Him.

If a person chooses to give up their soul and spend eternity with Satan it breaks God’s heart. And He does not want them to do that. But He can't force them to choose Him any more than we can force our own children to love/listen to us.
