Spiritual Warfare

Satan's tactics are hard to resist. He will lead us in the wrong direction and firmly convince us that we are headed in the right way. These notions are completely false. Any time we follow Satan we are making the wrong choices. It is only after we recognize this that we can accept the favor of the Lord. The Lord loves us more than life itself thus the reason He gave His life for us. If we follow Him then we will be forgiven of our sins.. but we must follow Him. This cannot be accomplished if we listen to Satan. Satan is our transgressor. He came to kill, steal, and destroy. Nothing good can come from listening to his thoughts. He wants to harm the children of God and targets us in order to hurt Him. We should recognize this and fight back. He has no power against us unless we give it to him. This is important to recognize because he will try to tell us subconsciously that we are powerless against him. Once we reach a point in which we can recognize his thoughts we will be able to resist him, and once we resist him enough he will flee from us. He will try to put thoughts in our mind, but we must rebuke them in the name of the Lord. They will only harm us and others if we allow them to manifest. Satan runs after us in the same way that God runs after us. The only difference is that God is always with us. Carrying us. We can wear Satan out. Eventually, he will get tired of chasing us if we resist him repeatedly. We should weigh every thought and every word before we speak because Satan will try to hurt others as well as ourselves.

Would you do something more for one that loves you and has a relationship with you? The same is so with God. He is hurt when we ignore Him and choose not to have a relationship with Him, but when we decide to talk to Him He shows favor on us: "Ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). We should always pray for ourselves when asking for help because we are all attacked by Satan. He wants to destroy all of God's people. He is not here to help anyone. We all have different personalities that we were created with. We have special talents that we were given to serve God in order to help others. Not one person is the same, and God loves us all unconditionally. He will show favor upon us when we turn on Satan to follow Him and help His people. Many do not realize that we are capable of saving others through God. Here. Anything is possible through God, and once He shows His favor upon us He will answer/consider our requests. So if there is someone that needs help He will intervene in that person's life if we ask Him to after we choose to have a real relationship with Him as it is always His will for His people to be saved. He just wants a relationship with us in the same way that we desire a relationship with our children. We would not deny our earthly father so why do we feel it is acceptable to deny our father in heaven? Just because we can't see Him? Did we discard the miracles we often witness? The beauty of this world. Is God's existence not apparent in that? Could a human have created this world? Logically? No. Have we become so blind that we cannot see? Who created our earthly father? Who gave him life/breath? Who formed us into being in our mother's womb? God. So therefore, then, every characteristic, every talent, that we possess came from God. We possess those traits of our parents which God first gave them, but God chose our parents in order to create the image He had of us in His mind: "I knew you before I created you in your mothers womb" (Jeremiah 1:5). Would our earthly father do anything for us to protect us? Would he sacrifice for us? Would he forgive us if we made a mistake? Why, then, do we believe that our father in heaven would not forgive us? "If you then, with all your human frailty, know how to give your children gifts that are good for them, how much more certainly will your Father who is in Heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him" (Luke 11:13). God will forgive us for breaking His heart and turning away from him. We choose to turn ourselves over to Satan for whatever reason. Sometimes we believe we have fallen too far to love and have become too evil.. but this is never the case with God. If we believe this it is because we have given our thoughts over to Satan, and this is the worst thing we can do to God because He loves us so much. Every person on this earth was given gifts from God to walk with Him and help His people. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit we will be able to help others through Him: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover" (Mark 16:17-18).
